Chandelier MIDAS SKEPP 8 Candles
Hand-forged chandelier for 8 tealights designed by Bertil Vallien. The chandelier's name MIDAS SKEPP comes from Greek mythology. Midas was offered by the wine god Dionysus to have a free wish fulfilled after helping him. Midas then wished that everything he touched would turn into gold. Hence the ship's so-called oars are gold-plated. When the flame from the tea lights is reflected in the oars, a fantastic shimmer is created. It includes 2 links 706 for suspension as standard. If the ceiling is high, there may be a need for one or more extra links. Boda Smide uses recognized designers and skilled craftsmen to create unique utilitarian and decorative objects in iron and glass. The handmade glass is produced by shaping the hot, viscous glass mass using manual methods where the result is a combination of the designer's vision and the craftsman's feeling. This method always produces different, individual results. All glasses are therefore unique individuals. In the forge, the wrought iron is shaped into beautiful utility items, where each product becomes unique through the blacksmith's hand power and skill.
