Chandelier SH 4 BLUE 12 Candles
Hand-forged chandelier with 12 arms for 12 candles. In each arm hangs a blue glass in 2 different sizes. Under the larger glasses hang individually designed glass medallions in clear glass, 3 with a print of a fish, 3 with a print of a face. Under the smaller glasses hang medallions shaped like a drop, 3 with a print of a face and 3 completely clear. In addition to the wrought construction itself, the middle and upper part consists of 3 glass details, 2 in blue and one larger glass detail in clear.
The product was designed by Erik Höglund in the early 60s. SH 4 means that the chandelier is the fourth designed item for serial production at Boda Smide. 2 links 707 for suspension are included as standard. If the ceiling is high, there may be a need for one or more extra links. Boda Smide uses recognized designers and skilled craftsmen to create unique utilitarian and decorative objects in iron and glass. The handmade glass is produced by shaping the hot, viscous glass mass using manual methods where the result is a combination of the designer's vision and the craftsman's feeling. This method always produces different, individual results. All glasses are therefore unique individuals. In the forge, the wrought iron is shaped into beautiful utility items, where each product becomes unique through the blacksmith's hand power and skill.
