How do I go about shopping?

Answer: When you find something you want to buy, click on "Add to cart". The item will then be added to your shopping basket. When you are finished, click on"Checkout".

1. Fill in your details so we can process your order.
2. Always check at checkout that your order, address and contact details are correct, then choose "Shipping" or "Pick up in store".
3. Choose payment method via Klarna. Then read and accept the terms and conditions. If your address details are correct, click on "Complete purchase".
4. A confirmation will appear on your screen and an order confirmation will be sent to the email address you have provided. Remember to provide the correct mobile number and email address as notifications regarding your order will be sent via mobile or email.

How do I pay on this site?

How much does shipping cost?

A: As the size of the goods varies greatly, the cost of shipping can also vary. When placing an order and selecting shipping, the cost of shipping is displayed. If you choose "Pick up in store", you can pick up the item free of charge in our store in Virserum. 

How long does it take to receive my order?

Answer: Normal delivery time is 3-5 working days and in some cases 5-10 working days. Under each product we have indicated the delivery time for that particular product. Please read more about deliveries in our terms and conditions.

Where is Boda Smide?

Answer: Boda Smide has a shop and production in Småländska Virserum. Please visit us! On our contact page you will find directions. 

Can I return my order and do I have an open sale?

How to clean the products?

Answer:

Cleaning glass

Glasses are best cleaned by gentle hand-washing with a mild detergent in lukewarm water.

Cleaning forged materials

Cleaning of the forged material is best done using a traditional dust mop or a dry cloth. NOTE! Do not use water and/or detergents.

Cleaning stearin

Removing wax from the forged parts - Use a plastic spatula (or equivalent) and remove as much wax as possible. The last can be removed by using a hair dryer (be sure to hold the part over a newspaper or the like to collect the stearin) or by placing the part in the oven on a baking paper-lined tray.

Packaging & environment?

Answer:

To protect the environment, we try to use packaging that is as environmentally friendly as possible. Among other things, we reuse cardboard boxes and use the material to protect the products and as a shock absorber and filler in the boxes.
